FAQs


When will I receive my conference materials?

A conference programme and handouts will be distributed at Registration & Pass Collection on the first morning of the conference. If you have only registered for an individual day or panel, you will receive your materials when you collect your pass. These materials will also be available after the end of the conference on the EWDSC website. You will be provided with access details at the conference.

When should I pay for the conference?

Payment must be received prior to the conference.

How should I pay for the conference?

Payment can be made online by credit card or PayPal.

Are the meals included?

Yes, there will be two coffee breaks, one networking lunch and one evening reception on each day. Please check the agenda for times.

Can I register for an additional day/panel/reception at the conference venue?

Yes, you will be able to register for additional days, panels or receptions at the venue. Please contact one of our registration staff, who will be happy to help.

What will I receive in advance?

Once registered, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with full details on your chosen agenda. Please print this and take it with you to the registration desk on your first day in order to collect your pass. You will also be automatically signed up to the EWDSC Newsletter and will receive immediate updates on any changes to the conference.

What do I do when I get there?

On your first morning at the conference, please take your confirmation to the registration desk, where you will be provided with your pass for your selected agenda and full conference materials. Your pass will have a barcode on it that is individual to you and will be scanned on entry and exit, so you will be able to use the same pass for the duration of the conference.

How many attendees will be at the conference?

This varies for each conference. Please do ask at our registration staff if you would like us to assist in facilitating a meeting with anyone present to ensure you receive maximum benefit from the event.

How can I get to the venue?

Full details on the location of the Central Military Club and transport means can be found on the Venue & Accommodation page. Also, all of our specially selected hotels are within walking distance from the venue. Please contact us if you require any further information or assistance.

What about accommodation?

The cost of hotel accommodation and travel is not included in the registration fee. Details of the accommodation options are also included within the conference information, and on the Venue & Accommodation page. You may either book online via the EWDSC website, or make a reservation directly with the hotel. To take advantage of our specially agreed accommodation rates, please quote that you are attending EWDSC when making your reservation.

What should I wear?

The dress code at the conference is business casual. The speakers usually come in business attire.
